Architecture The Sonesta Sun Goddess is five-star cruise ship and was built in Cairo by Belgian interior designer José Vanden Bossche in 1993. The five-deck ship measures 77 meters in length, 11 meters in height and 14 meters in width. The ship was awarded the Certificate of Excellence from the American Bureau of Shipping (A.B.S.) and classified as A-1 river service.
